Gloriosa Lily

A couple of days’ ago, I posted a photo of a brand new bloom on my Gloriosa lily. I was very intrigued by this lily because it’s a vining lily. I was eagerly awaiting the blooms. This is what it looked like on its first day.

But, after a couple of days, it started changing color! It’s now looking like someone has taken some watercolors to it. Extraordinary!

It’s even a deeper pink/red this morning (although I couldn’t get a good shot of it today). I’ve never seen a flower change color so dramatically.
